Sometimes it’s hard to know what you want if you haven’t seen it yet!
If you want a blue background for your company shots, your photographer could have a different vision of what a “blue background” could look like. I ran into this situation recently, and rather than guess what they wanted, I setup a (no charge) test shoot for them so they could look at what some of the options were. I brought a dancer to the studio and we shot the backgrounds with different lighting to get different looks and this is what we came up with:
This made it easy to visualize! The company decided they wanted a mix between D & E and that made it easy for me to know what equipment to bring to their studio to get the right shots:
